Vinyl Scavenger Guards
Vinyl Snap-On Scavenger Guards are a removable, lightweight option to prevent dogs from eating things while muzzled. These are especially good for dogs with allergies and those who eat icky things off the ground, since they’re easily removed and cleaned. Our vinyl guards are custom made to the muzzle size, and are designed to snap onto the muzzle with metal snap buttons. They’re designed to allow for plenty of ventilation on the sides and top of the muzzle, while effectively preventing scavenging from the front and bottom of the muzzle.
You also have the option to add a treat hole in the front of the guard for training, but keep in mind that it does increase the likelihood of your dog figuring out how to sneak things into the treat hole if they’re really determined!

Disclaimer: If you purchase a scavenger guard from us without purchasing a Big Snoof muzzle at the same time, we will build the guard based on muzzles we have in stock in the size you order. However, there is some variation in the specifications of wire muzzles, even though their sizing is standardized. We do our best to make these fit properly, but we cannot offer refunds if the guard your order apart from a muzzle does not fit perfectly onto the muzzle you have. It’s also very important to ensure you choose the correct muzzle size and coating style if you do not purchase the muzzle along with your Scavenger Guard order to ensure we make a guard that fits correctly.
